The Shipping Floor

Vibe coding has multiplied the number of mobile apps shipping every day. The defect rate hasn't moved. Below is what's landing in the app stores right now — and what Appaudix finds before release.

Methodology. Headline counters and the MASVS-v2 distribution are polled every five seconds from /api/v1/public/shipping-floor/snapshot — rolling-24h aggregates over Appaudix's anonymised scan history (Android: sampled from new Play Store releases via the Sydney crawler; iOS: aggregated from opt-in customer scans). The synthetic event stream below illustrates what an individual scan looks like coming out of the scanner: finding strings, severity weights, platform-specific categories and SDK / CVE references match what Appaudix emits in production, but package identifiers in the ticker are masked illustrations rather than real customer apps. Severity follows CVSS v3.1 qualitative ratings. To see real findings on your own build, run it through the API.
